The free version does literally nothing except take a bunch of time to install and then tell about everything it cant do, which is everything. I like the idea of this app but the time wasted on the free version sours me on paying for anything. Tacky marketing.

This is horrendous - I downloaded the free version to decide if I wanted to pay for the full version, but (like another reviewer below) I found that the only thing the free version does is have options for things that I need to have the full version to use. It does NOTHING (except irritate the user). And the interface is ugly. While I previously would have considered purchasing this app, the skeezy way this is presented has turned me off... and Im not paying $5 for an ugly app.

waste of time , free version will not play media files, tried to play Utube files and got an error message. whats left?

Apps alright, but 5 bux for the full version, def. not worth it. Make it free :)

Take the time to install it on the computer and phone. Totally recommended and getting the full version as soon as possible. I love this app.

It worked great before the update. Now its only comparable with vlc 2.0. Which is garbage because it cannot play .mp4 files without lagging. And the remote update isnt backwards comparable with version 1.11 of vlc.

A lot of thought has gone into the design of this app. It does exactly what I want and I will likely buy the paid version to gain access to file browsing. I play media on my laptop, with output to my TV. This app lets me control tons of options for playback, right down to adjusting the audio/video sync as well as the subtitle/video sync. The seek functions are very flexible. This app makes it easy for me to control my media from my phone, instead of using a "mousepad" style app. Great work!

app didnt work, 2 weeks past, no support, this free app did what it supposed to do: i demo-ed it and decide to not get the paying version,

Is clueless. I just installed it on my iPhone running 5.1.1. VLC is installed on my MacBook and IMac. It does exactly what it says it will. Make sure you send the setup app to your email so you can configure everything. Works flawless. THANKS!!

This app works perfectly with my Mac mini!!! A+++

Does just what its supposed to do, and very easy to set up. Gonna support these developers and buy the full app. Works great on my MacBook Pro.

This app is only to show you what you get if you buy the five dollar app. This app does absolutely nothing but show the outline of the paid app

I had no issues getting this to work, no idea what others are complaining about. I love it! I will upgrade to the full version ASAP

Ive been using this app for a while and its awesome. Would like to see a system volume feature/slider added. Liking the new experimental headset mode.

Im lazy as hell! This app rules! And it makes you look like a baller infront of all of your lazy friends!! Chicks dig it too! Makes you look all technology savvy and stuff! Aces!

Laptop hooked to receiver, hdmi, hdmi from receiver to tv...movies being played from laptop, music too...perfect. Who needs boxee box anymore with this app?

Just need to follow the setup instructions step-by-step. Also had clear troubleshooting steps on the support site. Was up and running in a few minutes. Bought the full version.

After this latest update, my saved computers list was erased... and cannot be recreated. However when it works its great.
